Synopsis

A collection of comics and stories, including -- "The Case of the Death Express"  featuring Superman :  Mild-mannered reporter Clark Kent investigates a series of railroad accidents that turn out to be anything but accidental.  In his secret identity as Superman, he must work to stop the culprits behind these so-called accidents before more lives are lost! -- "The Riddle of the Human Scarecrow"  featuring Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder :  As a child,  Jonathan Crane liked to scare birds. Now an ethically dubious professor of psychology at Gotham University, he is mockingly compared by colleagues to a scarecrow due to his thin frame and shabby clothes. Crane uses his earnings to buy rare books, but believing only greater wealth can buy him respect (and more rare books), he decides to deliver fear in exchange for money. PLUS :  Johnny Thunder, Zatara, Sandman, King Standish, the Crimson Avenger, and more!!
